  I was still tired from the night before. Went to see Justice at The Mayan and
didn't get back home until 1:30am just to wake up at 6:30am and go to my lousy
day job. Ugh! Work has been draining me, so afterwards I went to the gym to release
my angst. On Tuesdays, I take a abs and butt sculpting class. So, you can imagine
after all this, I was dead tired. Well, my friend, Sheila at Paramount, happened to
have free tickets to the soldout show to see Digitalism on this night. I love them!
I spin their music all the time. Their tickets were going for $150 a pair on Ebay.
I can't so "no" to her. It would be stupid just to go home, lie in my bed, watch
American Idol and just go to sleep. Thank god for I have DVR (and in HD!). Yeah!
At the concert, I stood right behind the soundboard so I can get the best in sound.
The theatre is very small, so there isn't a bad seat in the house. It was a pumping
set along with a cool visual backdrop that draped over their bodies and instruments
as well. I totally had forgotten I was even tired. My feet bouncing up and down along
with the smaller kids around me (it was an all ages show). Digitalism was a hybrid of
New Order, Soft Cell, Depeche Mode and Justice. Great show for the hipster / electro crowd
(like me!). Check them out if they come to your town. I will see them again and so should you!
